libdirectfb-bin software package provides direct frame buffer graphics - binaries, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libdirectfb-bin
libdirectfb-bin is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libdirectfb-bin package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libdirectfb-bin *
You will get with libdirectfb-bin package name, version, architecture and description in a table
